Important Design Team Information

Because of the recent "Swine Flu" scare, the deadline for entering the Design Team contest has been moved to May 22nd. All other dates (voting, announcing winners, etc.) have also been moved forward a week. For a new list of dates, please see the Upcoming Events in the left column or visit

If you haven't gotten your entries in, please do so. REMEMBER: every body's style and taste differs when it comes to scrapbooking. Scrapbook Haus is looking for a wide variety of styles so you shouldn't hesitate to enter the Call for Entries just because your "style" isn't like those you've seen before posted on-line or on display somewhere.

Crazy Week!

Well, school is back in session today, so my house is much more calm and quiet this morning! I had to set aside all my "plans" when school was unexpectedly canceled last week. Some how my boys got it in their heads that they were done for the year and got very upset about having to return to school today! It will be nice to get back in the regular routine. Hopefully I will be able to get a little bit of scrapbooking done and post more updates on the blog than I did this past week. I know Susan has received boxes and boxes of new items. As soon as I find out what was inside those boxes, I will let you know. Until then, I found this cute LO by a talented lady named Kelly Goree on-line. I am going to try to "scrap-lift" it using some of the Basic Grey Lime Rickey paper. I'd like to challenge you to do the same and then send me a picture of your LO so I can post it here on the blog. (you could even create a card using the same basic sketch)

Hope you get a lot of scrappin' done today! I have BIG plans but who knows what I will actually accomplish. However, I did get several LOs done at the crop yesterday. If you do complete a project or 2, e-mail me a picture so I can post them on the blog. Until then...HAPPY SCRAPPIN'!

On a more serious note, If you get a chance, please say a prayer for my Mamaw. She fell yesterday and broke her hip. She will be having surgery on Sunday. Thanks!
