Garage Sale

It's time for another paper crafters' garage sale. Saturday, July 17 9 - 6 PM - the store opens one hour early for the sale. All sales in the crop room are CASH only. This is a great opportunity to pick up some bargains. Call the store if you have treasured items you'd like to sell.

New Class Planned

The store will offer a new class on Sunday, July 11 2 -5 PM. This is a Mommy & Me Summer Fun Scrapbook project. It has 4 interior pages with wood embellishments. The cost is $25 per project. Recommended age is 8 years and up. If you're interested in this project (with or without a child), please call the store to reserve your space.

Basic Gray "Lemonade"

I created this layout using the "Lemonade" collection from Basic Gray. I don't usually use any yellow-green paper in my projects but I thought it looked really cool with the bright pink floral design. Eventually, the layout will include a photo of Gemma, Susan's puppy. (I'm going to have to work on making her name stand out more on the layout.)

Coredinations project

There are a couple of special Core-dinations cardstock in the store you might want to check out. The cardstock is already embossed with a pattern when you purchase it. This card was created using the butterfly cardstock. Originally it was totally white. I sanded down the surface to reveal the red coloring. The edges were torn to create even more of a pop of color. This product is also available with stars (brown), label design (black), cherries (red), and polka dots (white).

American Crafts products

American Crafts has some really cute collections this season. The two cards were made from the "Botanique" collection. Some of the butterflies are printed in a shiny copper finish to add a little extra zing to your project. Both papers used in the other card include glitter finish.
The layout was created using "Letterbox." The colors mix and match beautifully! All papers are cardstock weight and printed on both sides.

Crop Time!

The crop schedule for the month of June is available. Saturday, June 19 4-11 PM will be a Mommy & Me crop for ages 7 and up. Adult fee is $7 and children are $3.50 each.

Friday, June 25 4-11 PM will be a regular crop night. Fee is $7 for full access to the crop room and die cutting area. Be sure to call the store and reserve your seat. See you later this month!

New Classes Scheduled

Patti from "Cookbookin" will teach this class on Saturday, June 19 1 - 3:30. Cost is $25. This is a really cute gift idea for brides.

Toni will return on Saturday, June 26 1 - 3 PM to teach a Stained Glass card class. The photo does not do justice to how colorful and unique the card really is. The black text is a background underneath an acetate layer with the stained glass images. Cost is $20.

Scrapbook Basics Class

The store will sponsor another Scrapbook Basics class for all those interested in learning a new hobby. The class will be Sunday, June 13 1 - 3 PM. And the best thing is that it is FREE. Just call the store to reserve a seat.

Exciting New Product Line

The store has a new product brand- Cherry Arte. These are two of the collections. There are also coordinating rub ons. The paper is a double-sided cardstock weight paper. The color matches are amazing!
