Holiday Plans

This is a great weekend to get some crafting done. It's hot outside so this is a good time to enjoy the A/C and get caught up with your projects. Stop by the store on Sunday to pick up your supplies as the store will be closed on Memorial Day (May 31).

New product at the store

Stop by the store soon to check out the cool sterling silver charms available to celebrate your love of paper crafting. They are sure to fly off the shelf.

Stationary Caddy Class

Julie will be teaching a class to create a stationery caddy Sunday, May 23 4 - 6 PM. Cost to enroll is $25. This is a great end of year teacher gift. You'll create a caddy to hold the 4 note cards, 4 gift enclosure cards, and 4 tags you will create. The caddy also includes a note pad and postage stamp holder. The bottom photo shows the caddy with the lid on. The top photo shows a bird's eye view of the caddy opened up with the cards displayed.

New Card Swap

Today marks the beginning of the next card swap. Just create 6 cards using any of the Best Creation paper and drop them off at the store by May 16. You will receive six cards created by other paper artists in return. The store has a display of past card samples exchanged. E-mail marcie.cards@yahoo.com if you want to join the May 16 swap.

New Product Arriving

Have you stopped by the store lately? I was amazed at all the new product on the shelves. The store received the new Jenni Bowlin Core-dinations embossed cardstock. These are really pretty designs. I also noticed that the Ultra Fine Flower Soft is on display. Really cool colors! Three new Best Creation collections also arrived this week.

National Scrapbook Day

Stop by the store this Saturday, May 1, and celebrate National Scrapbook Day. The store has tons of new product to check out. There are also 3 different class offerings during the day. Happy crafting!

Next Crop Night this Friday

The next crop night at the store will be this Friday, April 30 4 pm - 11pm. This is a great opportunity to get your projects finished and share ideas with other paper crafters. Just call the store to reserve your seat.

More New Product!

Scrapbook Haus just received the new Reminisce Fairy Tales line. Each set includes double-sided paper ($0.79) and a sheet of die cut stickers ($2.69). The choices include Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, and Red Riding Hood. These would be perfect for birthday party, costume party, or Halloween layouts.

New Sports Paper

If you are looking for a cute, new product for your children's activities, check out the new arrival from Scrappin Sports. There are 9 different themes: dance, recital, competition, I love sports, volleyball, cheer spirit, basketball, soccer, and girls softball. The photo above shows 3 of these themes. This is a slick finish double-sided paper with a thermographic glitter design. The colors are bright and cheerful. The top photo shows the front and back of the paper and the matching stickers for one theme. The paper is $1.19 and the coordinating cardstock stickers are $2.79.

Countdown to Garage Sale

It's only a few minutes away from Saturday, April 17- the day of the Crafters' Garage Sale. The store will open early at 9:00 for the sale. Lots of great bargains! Remember that the garage sale items are CASH ONLY. Come early and be ready for some great deals!
